What is Limitless Expressions?
Back for the 2nd time, Deaf Spotlight will host LIMITLESS EXPRESSIONS (LX), a month-long festival featuring art, dance, visual vernacular and solo performances! You will see and participate in different mediums over four weekends!
When is the festival?
The festival will be open from April 25 to May 18 on weekends at 12th Avenue Arts Studio, Seattle, WA.
Where is the festival?
The venue’s address is 1620 12th Avenue, Seattle, WA 98122. The venue is on the ground level.
Street parking available up to 2 hours, free after 6 pm. Sunday free parking. Parking lots are available nearby, at your own risk.
Public transportation is available via bus and Light Rail. Our Light Rail station’s name is Capitol Hill.
ADA restrooms are available on ground level next to the Studio theater.
Are there any restaurants and bars nearby?
Yes, there are many restaurants and bars nearby and available on YELP or Google Maps.

Will the festival be virtual, in-person, or hybrid format?
This festival will be in person at this time.
What kind of tickets are you offering at the festival?
We are offering individual tickets and festival passes.
An individual event ticket will allow you to attend a specific event. In this ticketing platform, you will have a chance to pick specific events you would like to attend.
A festival pass will guarantee you a seat at each event (Art Night, Art Market, Dance, Visual Vernacular, 8585 Fish, ASL Cabaret and Deaf Talks). You will need to specify which date you would like to go for some repeated performances like Art Market, Dance and Visual Vernacular).
Are there festival passes? How much are they?
Yes. Passes give you access to all events in the festival. We offer four different types of passes:
Inclusive ($40)+ fees
General ($100) + fees
Patron ($200) + fees
Benefactor ($300) + fees
You can buy a pass on the BoldType platform.
What if I want to see some specific events, not the whole festival?
You can purchase tickets for individual events. Go to the specific event page to purchase tickets.
Art Night Out (April 25, 2025) and Art Market (April 26-27, 2025) are free.
The rest of the events are paid tickets.
Individual ticket price per event:
Inclusive- $10 + fees
General - $25 + fees
Patron - $50 + fees
Benefactor - $75 + fees
Is there early bird ticket pricing?
No, there is no early bird pricing this year.
What if I am late to the event?
We value our artists, audiences and festival crew’s time during the LX festival, we respectfully request you to arrive before and/or on time for all performances. Doors open half hour before each performance time. We will not accept any late seating for all paid events.
Can I go to another same event if I miss my pre-selected event?
Your ticket/ pass is NONTRANSFERABLE to other days. We want to ensure that everyone has a chance to attend on the day without any issues. Thank you for your understanding.
Is there any access available for the festival?
At all events, we will have ASL interpreters ready for any pre-event announcements and ticket sales.
During some experiences (ASL Cabaret, Dance and Visual Vernacular), there will be no voiceovers to spotlight the sign language with the audience.
At Deaf Talks, CART option will be provided.
Are there any family-friendly events?
Yes, there are some family-friendly events! Here they are below:

Dance | Friday to Sunday, May 2-4, ideal for youths over 8.
Visual Vernacular | Friday-Sunday, May 9-11
