Sound Off: The Deaf Theatere Festival


The 8th annual SOUND OFF: A Deaf Theatre Festival is happening!

SOUND OFF brings Deaf artists from across Canada to celebrate their stories, their culture and the beauty of sign language on stage.

Featuring over 16 events with more than 20 Deaf artists from across the country.

Featuring 6 mainstage performances, including our new collaboration with SkirtsAfire for our co-production of "Speaking Vibrations" from Ottawa.

Also including the return of our ever-popular, and hilarious, annual improv collaborations with Rapid Fire Theatre, with Maestro (online) and Theatresports: SOUND OFF Edition (live).

All this, plus live and online workshops, staged readings with Deaf playwrights, panels and more!

Events are accessible to all audiences and provide ASL/English interpretation, so that everyone can participate.
