Cheer on the next generation of theatermakers, artists, and creatives! You’re invited to the 2024 Seattle Regional Finals of the Next Narrative Monologue Competition.

Watch the incredibly talented teen finalists of our Regional Next Narrative Monologue Competition perform new monologues by America’s leading Black playwrights on the Leo K. stage. The top two winners will be flown to the National Finals in New York City, representing our region as they compete to perform at the iconic Apollo Theater.

Plus, enjoy the new play, The State of the Students by Rachel Atkins, performed by more talented youth actors, while the monologue competition judges deliberate.
