An audition is a sample performance by an actor, dancer or other performer. The performer would show their talent through a previously memorized or rehearsed solo piece, and/or a cold reading.

BIO
Monique “MoMo” Holt is one of co-chairs of MAP: Deaf Short Play Festival (July 15-18, 2021). MoMo wear several hats: director, playwright, and professor in Theater and Dance Program at the Gallaudet University. She recently participated in the IRT Theatre developing her 2nd act, “Please UnTranslate Me” this summer. She is a member of AEA, SAG-AFTRA, Theatre Communications Group (TCG), and Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (RID).
This space is for Deaf, DeafBlind, DeafDisabled and Hard of Hearing students who want to learn from a Deaf professional. The workshop instruction will be in ASL. Thank you for your understanding in advance.
