Aimee Chou is a Seattle-based theatre artist who is thrilled to take on her stage directing debut this year, having previously directed the ASL-translated Zoom production of TIGER STYLE! for Huntington Theatre in 2021. Her recent acting credits include GASLIGHT (Angel Street) by Sound Theatre Company and CHILDREN OF A LESSER GOD (Hope Summer Repertory Theatre). Aimee has penned numerous plays, including HUMANLY POSSIBLE (Deaf Spotlight), MOTHERCLUCKER! (Theatre Battery), PLUMB CRAZY PIPE DREAM (Deaf Spotlight and RIT/NTID Deaf Performing Arts), and AUTOCORRECT THINKS I'M DEAD, a full-length horror comedy currently in pre-production for its Fall 2023 world premiere.

Monique “MoMo” Holt | Mentor and as Aissa

MoMo Holt is a Professor for Theatre & Dance Program at Gallaudet. In 2019, MoMo wrote, “Wag Tale” for Deaf Spotlight’s Short Play Festival and was the Theater Director who coordinated the online Short Play Festival in 2021.  She directed the VOCA’s BIPOC One-Person Show: IN THE EYES OF A DEAF CHILD by Stella Antonio last year.

Kellie Martin is a badass, queer, nonbinary, deaf artist. Kellie worked with art, culture, and theatre organizations for over 8 years and loves to collaborate with others for creative projects. They graduated from SCAD in Creative Business Leadership specializing in art and culture nonprofit organizations.

They currently work with Deaf Spotlight as the Art & Design Program Director. Deaf Spotlight supports deaf artists by helping them raise their professional level and transition to the art professional world.
