VISION BOARD 2025

The Art & Design program will host a meet-up for artists: Vision Board 2025. This event aims to offer a supportive environment where artists can connect, network, and exchange ideas.

Bring your preferred mediums, whether it’s collage, drawing, digital art, or more, to create your vision board.

DEAF LIT FEST: Oct 11-12, 2024

Deaf Lit Fest is a brand-new event being hosted by Deaf Spotlight on October 11-12, 2024 at Hugo House in Seattle, Washington.

This is a festival that aims to spotlight Deaf authors of various backgrounds, provide some workshops related to writing and the literary world, and give opportunities for people to meet other like-minded people.

BIPOC Deaf Arts Grant Recipients Selected for 2023

Deaf Spotlight is excited to announce the three 2023 recipients of the BIPOC Deaf Arts Grant! 

If you don’t know, BIPOC means Black, Indigenous, and People of Color. The grant is for Deaf, DeafBlind, DeafDisabled, and hard of hearing artists who are members of oppressed racial groups.  

Our mission is to inspire and showcase Deaf Culture and Sign Languages through the arts. We're thrilled to continue this grant to support the new cycle of BIPOC Deaf artists. 

The three recipients are:

This is our 2nd time to track Professional Development of the Deaf, DeafBlind, DeafDisabled and Hard of Hearing artists and creatives.

We are grateful to all who filled out the 2022 survey. This data has helped us start compiling a picture of the Deaf, DeafBlind, DeafDisabled and Hard of Hearing art community.  We are looking forward to the next year’s data (2024) which will be our third year in doing this survey. Thank you for your support!  


Our organization is community driven with a vision, with countless successes in creative and cultural entertainment. We cannot wait to do more!
